About:

This was the founding concept of Indigo. Bringing youths into a rural Zulu community to learn more than skateboarding as this is just the glue that bonds people together. Our skate instructors have years of experience and ability to show aspiring young skateboarders the way forward.

When?

Our next skate camp will be from the 11th to the 16th of December 2017

Where is the camp going to be?

Indigo Skate Camp is in the Valley of 1000 hills, Kwazulu Natal, situated 5o km’s / 30 mins from Durban. Campers need only arrive in Durban and Indigo will collect campers at point of entry ( airport /bus stop )

How many days will the camp last?

6 days, 5 nights

Accommodation

Campers will sleep in comfortable beds in one of two dormitory rondavels. We have hot showers and flushable toilets for the campers

What is included?

Campers will have an all-inclusive skateboarding holiday.   Airport pick-up, food, lodging, and of course, lots of fun! Campers will experience all the beauty and culture of the Isithumba village as well as head out to Durban and Pietermaritzburg on skate excursions. We will take skaters out to a variety of different terrain and parks to expose them to as much stoke as possible

Plus this camp is offering a free Element deck and Vans shoes for all campers ( valued at over R1 500)

Tell Me More about the Indigo Youth Camp. What Can I Expect?

Your day will start by arriving at the King Skaka International Airport / bus / train station . You will be picked up by an Indigo Skate Camp representative.  We will take you to the accommodations, where you will get settled and meet other campers.

All campers are to meet at the assembly point, where they will receive an introduction to the camp and each other.

You will have the morning each day to skate the Indigo Skate Camp facility, while other days we will head out to skate parks / spots in surrounding areas. Every afternoon is full of fun activities and adventures.

At the end of the session, we will have an assembly.  You will have a photo shoot of you and your tricks.  This will make a great way to share this memory with your friends & family when you return home!

Note: The prices listed do not include transport to Durban. Indigo Skate Camp provides transportation from / to your point of arrival / departure. We recommend arriving in Durban by coach or by plane. Transport provided during the camp will be in a safe / modern vehicle. Experienced, mature staff will ensure your trip is enjoyable and trouble free.

SAFETY AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

Please be sure to give your child all the necessary medical aid info. The nearest state hospital is 20kms from the skate camp.
